The bay is enclosed; therefore there is no chance of you drifting off shore. However guests are still advised not to surf out further than 1.0 km. We pride ourselves on our safety system and there is always a member of the crew on Baywatch duty. A powerful motorboat and Jet Ski are available in case of an emergency. Hannes Unterweger (Austria) and Davina Payne (UK) realised their dream and opened the Freak windsurf station with friends in 2004. They have built up an international, fun and loyal team over the years. Between us we can communicate with you in English, French, Italian and German.
